PRESIDENT SHAWN O’MARA NOW TEACHING AT POINT PARK UNIVERSITY

President Shawn O’Mara has been a teacher and professor for over 26 years, and has taught design courses to students at numerous schools in the Pittsburgh area. Not only does he currently teach at Duquesne University and Chatham, he also just started teaching at Point Park University this fall.

As an adjunct professor at Point Park University, Shawn teaches a course titled “Graphic Design I.” Throughout this semester-long class, he will be teaching students the design process and conceptual thinking. This course will help students gain an understanding of the fundamentals of design. The lessons Shawn will teach will provide students the groundwork they need for future design classes, projects, and ultimately for their careers!
